Tyler and I are in search of the Ultimate Holiday drink. We've scoured the internet looking for recipes to try, and have narrowed it down to a select few. Hopefully at the end of this series we will find what we'll be serving on December 25th!
Today, is kind of like Part Four Part Two, as we're still tasting the Candy Cane Vodka from The Speckled Palate, but now we're adding it to the quintessential winter drink: hot chocolate. Here are our thoughts.
The Pros:
- It tastes like Christmas in a cup!
- Tyler doesn't even really like hot chocolate, but that little spike of peppermint made it incredibly enjoyable for him
- You couldn't taste the vodka originally, and you definitely can't now
The Cons:
- There are no cons to this, just please remember to always make your hot chocolate with milk, not water. It's just better.
Once again, Tyler and I gave the Candy Cane Vodka Hot Chocolate 5 stars! We highly recommend you make some up yourself and drink it on Christmas Eve with a fire blazing and a holiday movie on tv.
